Protect Your Home from Leaks, Pests, and Damage
A properly built chimney cap seals the most vulnerable part of the chimney — the flat top. Sheridan fabricates custom steel and copper chimney covers that keep water, rodents, and insects out, protect flue penetrations, and deliver a clean, finished look that stands up to any weather.
Made from Long-Lasting, Commercial-Grade Materials
Sheridan Sheet Metal fabricates chimney covers from steel or copper chosen for durability and long-term performance. These aren’t thin, off-the-shelf caps - they’re built to stand up to years of moisture, snow, rain, and temperature swings.
Sealed Pipe Penetrations to Keep Water and Critters Out
Every flue and pipe penetration is carefully cut and sealed. When copper or galvanized steel is used, seams and collars are soldered for long-term watertight performance. Painted steel penetrations are sealed properly to keep water, rodents, and insects out… not just covered and caulked.
Full Protection for the Top of the Chimney
A properly installed chase top is pitched to direct water away from the flue and toward the outside edge of the chimney, helping shed water before it can enter the structure. By fully covering the top and protecting exterior edges, Sheridan Sheet Metal products help prevent leaks before they reach masonry or interior spaces.
Custom-Fit for Proper Venting
Chimney covers are fabricated to match flues and fireplace pipes. When decorative tops are requested, Sheridan Sheet Metal considers venting requirements and coordinates with heating or venting professionals when needed.
Fabricated to Fit. SHIPPED NATIONALLY.

Great materials, Knowledgeable and Friendly!Posted on Amber MillerAugust 14, 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I have never utilized their services, but unfortunately had a run in with their work truck yesterday (8/13). I was driving home from work in bumper to bumper traffic on 394E. Their work truck merged onto the freeway in front of my car off Penn Ave. In the backseat were two teenage females (likely 13-15 years old), who decided it was a good idea to have laser pointers and shine them in the eyes of other vehicles. Unfortunately my eye got hit with their laser. They laughed when they saw that and then continued to point it at my vehicle to hit my face, while one filmed it on their phone. There was no way to move my car due to the heavy traffic. Thankfully, they got off at the following exit on Dunwoody. I’m unfortunately still dealing with a headache and left eye blur as a result of this incident. The fact that the employee driver thought it was ok to allow them to do that (there is no way they didn’t know what was happening) really speaks volumes about their employees and business. Really poor judge of character. If I continue to have health issues and must seek the doctor, there is no doubt I’ll be calling them for payment of the bill.Posted on Scott RauserJuly 9, 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. 5 stars, hands down. Needed six downspouts in a pinch during a record rainfall season. Called Sheridan and Andrew was able to get this project completed at a fair price and also suggested a few simple modifications that improved the overall gutter system. The metal product is superior and installed by a very experienced and conscientious team led by Ian. I appreciate the work!Posted on Deborah O'HalloranJune 27, 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Fabtstic experience and very happy with final result. The owner, Steve, sets the tone and is very customer centric and responsive. Their installation crew is excellent and the nicest guys ever. This is second time we’ve used them on our 1910 house and they are an honest group and truly know metal, including half moon gutters and big downspouts. We highly recommend.Posted on Nathan GarrettJune 6, 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Awesome place for anything construction. Great peoplePosted on Ryan SappDecember 1, 2023Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I hired Sheridan to install some custom box gutters on a residential application. Andrew in the office was a pleasure to work with. When the crew arrived on the job site they were knowledgeable, respectful of the property, and did excellent work. My only advice to new clients is to consider this is a smaller outfit, doing A+ custom work, so give your project timeline enough runway, as they are quite busy.Posted on Minnlake B & ROctober 5, 2023Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
